BRISBANE, Australia (AP) -- Australian media says TV's "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin has been killed in a marine accident.

Steve Irwin is now dead. Somehow not from an accident with a crocodile as I'm sure many people would have expected, but probably from a stingray strike.
